Suggestions on how people find a balance between work and relaxation-that-doesn’t-include-physical-work (I love gardening, but I have a physically demanding job and a tendency to develop overuse injuries – I would love any suggestions anyone might have on breaking out of the cycle of overwork – injury – recovery from injury!).
8. Please, please, please do not release helium balloons outside! When they come down, they often make their way into waterways – where they seem like food to sea turtles and other aquatic life; ingestion is harmful, and often lethal.
9. Please consider discouraging children from popping balloons without wearing hearing protection! The volume is approximately 155-168 dB (depending on size of balloon and mechanism of popping) – louder than a shotgun or a pistol – not great for one’s long-term ability to hear.
